Want to know whether investing $1500 into a gaming PC is worthwhile or not? Then you have come to the right place as in this article I am going to provide you with a distinct answer to that question.

Hunting for a good gaming PC can be a difficult ordeal because of the number of different options there are in the market that command varied prices.

That being said, having reviewed gaming PCs for a while now and being an avid gamer myself, I have gained enough knowledge regarding PCs that I can distinguish the different price segments gaming PCs are priced at.

So, let’s examine the $1500 price bracket in this article and see whether this budget can provide us with a good gaming PC.

Is $1500 Good for a Gaming PC?

Before I get more hands-on with the budget let’s first define what a good gaming PC actually is because the perception of the term good is not the same for everyone.

In the PC industry, the term good is vaguely thrown without much substantial context. Since there is so much variation here there is no one good thing to talk about.

Therefore, when referring to PCs as good we often regard them as good with the context of a certain budget.

For instance, a PC X, priced at $1500 is good because it is the best for that given price. It cannot compete with gaming PCs that are priced higher simply because they will be outright better hence when looking outside of the $1500 the term does not apply for PC X.

Keeping that in mind, and seeing what the $1500 budget has to offer, I can confidently say that it is a great budget to acquire a gaming PC at.

This is because at this budget you are reaching more for the top-of-line computers that each manufacturer has to offer. This entails a gaming PC that can play all modern games at 1080p over 144FPS without a hitch.

If high FPS is not a concern, and you want those shimmering textures then you would be pleased to know that in $1500 you can get a PC that will be able to play games at 1440p as well.

Also, if you are more into customized individual builds and want a PC that you can truly call your own then that is also possible at this budget because once you cross the $1000 threshold a lot of options open up to you.

You can buy PC parts that are specifically tailored for a specific look or can get a custom case. Things like that add to the unique character of your PC.
